Privacy Policy

The short version: Dagachii reads your activity to grow your Kipy and run fair races. Your health data is never sold, never shared, and friends only ever see race standings — not your workouts.

This Privacy Policy explains how Mokabyte LLC (“Mokabyte”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses and protects your information when you use the Dagachii mobile app and this website (together, the “Service”). By using Dagachii you agree to this policy.

1. What we collect

Account information

  • Sign-in details. You can sign in with Apple, Google, or an email address. We receive the email address your provider shares (Apple's private relay addresses work fine) and use it only to operate your account. We never see your Apple or Google passwords.
  • Username. Chosen once at sign-up; it doubles as your display name and is visible to people who search for it or race with you.
  • Game profile. Your level, XP, points, skill points, attributes, badges, and the avatars and gear you own or wear.

Activity information

  • Workouts. Activity type (walk, run or jog), distance, duration, start and end time, and — when your health platform provides them — average pace, heart rate and calories.
  • Health platform sync (optional). With your explicit permission, Dagachii reads workouts from Apple Health (iOS) or Health Connect (Android), including workouts recorded by a smartwatch. Access is read-only and you can revoke it anytime in your device settings.
  • Location during live tracking (optional). If you start a live tracked session, we use GPS to measure your distance while the session runs. We store the resulting distance and duration — not a map of your route.

Social information

  • Friend connections (always mutual — both sides accept), group memberships and invite codes, race entries and standings, and duel results.

Diagnostics

  • Basic, aggregated usage and crash diagnostics to keep the app working. These are not used for advertising and are not tied to a marketing profile.

What we deliberately don't collect: your age or birthday, your contacts, your precise location outside a live session, advertising identifiers, or anything from third-party social accounts beyond sign-in.

2. How we use it

  • Turning distance into points, XP, levels and badges.
  • Running challenges: your race totals feed the leaderboards of groups you join.
  • Maintaining friendships, groups and duels you take part in.
  • Keeping the Service secure, honest and free of fake miles.
  • Answering support requests you send us.

We do not sell your data, show ads, or share your information with advertisers or data brokers. Health data is used only to count your movement — never for advertising, and never disclosed to third parties except as required to store it securely (see below).

3. What other people see

Dagachii has no public profiles, no discovery feed and no chat. Other people can find you by searching your exact username. Mutual friends and race-mates see only a public slice: username, level, equipped Kipy and gear, attributes, earned badges, weekly and monthly distance totals, and your standings in races you share. Your individual workouts, streaks, points balance and health data are never visible to anyone but you.

4. Where your data lives

Your data is stored with Supabase, our backend infrastructure provider, in a database protected by row-level security so that each account can only reach its own records. Data is encrypted in transit. Sign-in is provided by Apple, Google, or email verification. These providers process data on our behalf and under their own security commitments; none of them may use your Dagachii data for their own purposes.

5. Retention, export & deletion

  • Export. Settings → Privacy & Data → Export my data bundles your profile, workouts, points history and badges into a file we email to you.
  • Deletion. Settings → Privacy & Data → Delete account erases your account and its data immediately and permanently — Kipy, badges and points included. There is no undo. You can also email us to request deletion.
  • We keep your data only while your account exists, plus short-lived backups that expire on their own schedule.

6. Children

Dagachii is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13 — or under the higher minimum age that applies where you live. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example the EU/EEA, UK or California), you may have rights to access, correct, export, delete or restrict the processing of your personal information. The in-app export and delete tools cover the common cases instantly; for anything else, email us and we'll help — support@dagachii.com. We don't sell or share personal information as defined by the California Consumer Privacy Act.

8. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy in a meaningful way, we'll update the date at the top and note it inside the app before the change takes effect. Continued use of Dagachii after a change means you accept the updated policy.
