This Privacy Policy explains how Mokabyte LLC (“Mokabyte”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses and protects your information when you use the Dagachii mobile app and this website (together, the “Service”). By using Dagachii you agree to this policy.

1. What we collect

Account information

  • Sign-in details. You can sign in with Apple, Google, or an email address. We receive the email address your provider shares (Apple's private relay addresses work fine) and use it only to operate your account. We never see your Apple or Google passwords.
  • Username. Chosen once at sign-up; it doubles as your display name and is visible to people who search for it or share a challenge with you.
  • Game profile. Your points, badges, the Kipies and Athletes you collect and equip, and how your yard is decorated.

Activity information

  • Workouts. Activity type (walk, run or jog), distance, duration, start and end time, and — when your health platform provides them — average pace, heart rate and calories.
  • Health platform sync (optional). With your explicit permission, Dagachii reads workouts from Apple Health (iOS) or Health Connect (Android), including workouts recorded by a smartwatch. When Health is connected, Dagachii may also write workouts recorded in Dagachii back to your health platform so they are available in your device's health history. You can revoke access anytime in your device settings.
  • Location during live tracking (optional). If you start a live tracked session, we use GPS to measure your distance and draw your route while the session runs. We store the route with the resulting workout so you can view it later. Routes remain private and are not shown to friends or challenge participants.

Social information

  • Friend connections (always mutual — both sides accept), group memberships and invite codes, and challenge entries and standings.

Purchase information

  • Store and RevenueCat records. Optional consumable Petal packs are purchased through Apple's App Store on iPhone and Google Play on Android. RevenueCat validates those purchases and processes your Dagachii app user ID, product and transaction identifiers, store and platform, app and SDK version, and purchase-related diagnostics such as errors or request performance when available. Dagachii does not receive your full payment-card details.
  • Dagachii purchase receipts. Our backend stores the store and environment, product identifier, transaction and RevenueCat event identifiers, the number of Petals credited, and timestamps. We use these records to deliver each purchase once, reconcile delayed events, and investigate purchase support issues.

Diagnostics

  • Product-interaction analytics, app version and platform details, per-install identifiers, and crash diagnostics used to understand feature reliability and keep the app working. We use our Supabase backend plus Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics for this purpose. These records are not used for advertising or to build an advertising profile. You can disable product-interaction analytics anytime under Settings → Privacy & Data → Share app analytics; doing so clears queued analytics events and stops new ones. This setting does not disable essential crash diagnostics.

What we deliberately don't collect: your age or birthday, your device address book, your precise location outside a live session, advertising identifiers, or anything from third-party social accounts beyond sign-in. Dagachii does store the mutual friend, group, and challenge connections described above.

2. How we use it

  • Turning distance into points and badges.
  • Running challenges: your distance totals feed the leaderboards of challenges you join.
  • Maintaining friendships and groups you take part in.
  • Loading available Petal packs, validating purchases, preventing duplicate delivery, and crediting the purchased Petals.
  • Keeping the Service secure, honest and free of fake miles.
  • Answering support requests you send us.

We do not sell your data, show ads, or share your information with advertisers or data brokers. Health data is used only to provide fitness features — never for advertising. It is handled by the service providers described below as needed to operate Dagachii and, when you connect Health, by the health platform you direct Dagachii to write to.

3. What other people see

Dagachii has no public profiles, no discovery feed and no chat. Other people can find you by searching your exact username. Mutual friends and challenge-mates see only a public slice: username, your equipped Kipy and Athlete, your avatar collection and yard, earned badges, weekly and monthly distance totals, and your standings in challenges you share. People in a challenge with you can also see the activity type, date and time, distance, duration, and pace of workouts counted in that challenge. They cannot see routes, heart rate, calories, workout source, workouts outside that challenge, streaks, Petal or Point balances, or account and sign-in details.

4. Where your data lives

We use the following service providers to operate Dagachii:

  • Supabase provides account authentication, database storage, file storage, and server-side functions. Access to app data is protected by row-level security, and data is encrypted in transit.
  • Apple and Google provide optional account sign-in and their respective device health platforms. Apple processes App Store purchase payments and refund requests; Google Play processes Android purchase payments and refund requests.
  • RevenueCat connects Dagachii to the App Store and Google Play purchase systems. It validates purchases, reports purchase events to our backend, and helps us resolve purchase-delivery issues. It processes the identifiers and technical context described in the Purchase information section.
  • Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics process app-usage and crash diagnostics. We do not use Firebase advertising products or the advertising ID. Firebase Analytics respects the in-app Share app analytics setting described above.
  • Resend delivers transactional emails such as sign-in, privacy-request, and account-deletion messages and reports delivery failures or complaints.

These providers receive only the information needed for the relevant service and process it under their own privacy and security terms.

5. Retention, export & deletion

  • Request a copy. Email support@dagachii.com from the address associated with your Dagachii account and ask for a copy of your data. We may verify your identity before providing it.
  • Deletion. Settings → Privacy & Data → Delete account starts a staged deletion of your sign-in account and active profile, workout, route, friendship, challenge, Kipy, badge, Petal, Point, and purchase-credit data. Apple authorization is revoked where required, and RevenueCat customer erasure is requested before the remaining app data and sign-in account are removed. If a provider step is temporarily unavailable, Dagachii asks you to retry instead of claiming the deletion finished. There is no undo after deletion completes. You can also email us to request deletion.
  • Raw analytics and diagnostic records are kept for up to 180 days. If you delete your account, any remaining analytics identifiers are replaced with a non-live tombstone so the records no longer refer to an active account; aggregate, de-identified statistics may remain.
  • If an email hard-bounces or is reported as spam, we retain the email address and reason on a suppression list so Dagachii does not send further messages to it. Short-lived backups expire on their own schedule.
  • RevenueCat customer erasure clears the RevenueCat customer profile and purchase history but does not itself reverse or refund a store purchase. Apple, Google, and other payment processors may retain transaction, refund, tax, fraud-prevention, or other records that they are legally required or permitted to keep under their own policies.

6. Children

Dagachii is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13 — or under the higher minimum age that applies where you live. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example the EU/EEA, UK or California), you may have rights to access, correct, export, delete or restrict the processing of your personal information. The in-app deletion tool and the email request process described above cover the common cases; for anything else, email us and we'll help — support@dagachii.com. We don't sell or share personal information as defined by the California Consumer Privacy Act.

8. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy in a meaningful way, we'll update the date at the top and note it inside the app before the change takes effect. Continued use of Dagachii after a change means you accept the updated policy.
